Welcome to Little Strokes of Genius Company, featuring unique and innovative art experiences for children of all ages. The company name suggests that in your child’s mind, every new creation is his own personal stroke of genius. Little Strokes of Genius looks to positively reinforce this proud way of thinking as together we journey into the arts.
We believe that art is so much more than paper and crayon. Our objective is to expose your children to many different techniques, materials and ideas while learning art history. In this program, we will emphasize the process of creating each piece of art without pressure for the “perfect” product.
This is not your typical step-by-step children’s drawing program. What is unique to Little Strokes of Genius is the exposure to history’s great artists, the use of a wide variety of high-quality professional art materials, a wide variety of techniques and the freedom to express their own vision on each project.
These weekly classes consist of a detailed art history lesson on a specific artist, technique or style followed by an age-appropriate guided hands-on project.
Our program will open your students’ minds to the lives, styles and techniques of history’s great artists. Our young “geniuses” are encouraged to tap into their own creative abilities in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. We feature a variety of classes and workshops to fit your children’s ages and learning styles. Little Strokes of Genius offers art classes for children from ages 3 to 13. Elementary level children will delve even deeper into the history and subject matter of each lesson with more involved techniques and styles to challenge their imaginations.
In the more than 12 years Little Strokes of Genius has been in business, we have received overwhelmingly positive responses from the schools and parents involved in the program. Little Strokes of Genius is extremely popular at each of its participating schools, with “Art Day” being the highest enrollment day at most schools.
